-worming means, efficient in mono-and multi invasions. Selectively inhibits the polymerization of beta-tubulin activity brakes the microtubular group of cells of the intestinal canal of worms, upholds glucose utilization, blocking the movement of secretory parts and other organelles in the muscle cells of nematodes, causing their death. It is principally effective against the larval types of cestodes – Echinococcus granulosus and Taenia solium, nematodes – Strongyloides stercolatis.
Dexamethasone and cimetidine increase the concentration of Albendazole in the blood.
